As a Gospel Centered Church, and this is a vital age where children are really starting to grow in their ability to understand who Jesus is and that He is the Hero of God's Story: The Bible. So, we teach them the bible in a way that helps them understand Jesus, His Story, His Gospel. We take this age group very seriously.
We keep the children's safety in utmost importance. We have a clean, safe, fun environment. We use a secure check in and pick up and sign out process. After signing in, we have the children come into the sanctuary and worship with the parents, because we believe it is critical that children not only learn the Gospel but also to learn to worship together as families. This is an age where children can begin to understand worship and passionate worship is one of our core values.
After singing some songs, we release all of the children from PreK to 5th grade into their age appropriate classrooms, so that they can learn, have fun, make friends and begin to grasp the Good News about Jesus. At Redeemer Fellowship, we talk about Jesus a lot, and make Him our main focus. Your children will get the same education in their classes, an education that teaches that God's Word, and all of life is all about Jesus. We use the Gospel Project curriculum, which helps students see that Jesus is the main focus of the bible, not a bunch of disjointed moralistic stories. Below is a promo for this curriculum:
After the service is over, parents pick up their students in the same class that they dropped them off at after going through a safe, secure sign out process.
